Throughout the article writing process, there is the additional need to take pictures, whether for a feature photo or just to add interest throughout the article. I have done a few articles with more photos and hope to continue improving these skills in the future.
The Domini-Hoskins Black History Museum
As I set out to write my article about this Black History museum in Redwood City, I was able to visit the museum before opening day to talk to the founder, Carolyn Hoskins, and see the exhibits. Walking around, I was struck by the sheer volume of artifacts and history she had been able to collect to showcase, and wanted to reflect that in my article for anybody that wasn't able to visit the museum in person.
